As we find ourselves at the midway point of 2024, it is with immense joy and gratitude that Touring Career Workshop celebrates a significant milestone – the one-year anniversary of our groundbreaking All Access On Site program. The journey has been nothing short of transformative, culminating in a triumphant return to the vibrant grounds of the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN this past June.
Reflecting on Growth
This past year has been an incredible odyssey for us at Touring Career Workshop. We've conducted nearly 40 sessions at five festivals this season, including three festivals where we made our grand debut! It's been incredibly heartening to witness our backstage community embracing and championing our services. Crew members are returning, recommending us to their peers, and forming a robust support network. We’ve been afforded moments to observe how team members remember each other, prioritize self-care, and express their emotions, which marks a significant evolution in our industry since we first saw a need for forming this organization in 2011. We're deeply grateful for the opportunity to foster this positive transformation. Returning to where it all began, at the iconic Bonnaroo Music Festival, felt like coming full circle – a moment brimming with nostalgia and deep gratitude for how far we have come.

Among our most exciting (and most fun!) innovations this year has been the Mental Health Mobile. Think of it as our superhero sidekick, swiftly arriving to meet people amid their busy schedules—whether rushing to the next stage or transporting equipment- to provide essential support on the spot and in motion. Kasey’s creative touch highlights our commitment to emotional well-being and responding to the dynamic demands of our industry…and to that, we say "Beep, Beep!”
Empowering Through Counseling and Mentorship
At the core of the All Access and All Access on Site programs is the commitment to providing a vital outlet for live event professionals to navigate the complexities of their career and personal lives. Whether it's coping with extended periods away from home or managing day-to-day stressors, these programs offer essential support to ensure mental well-being and resilience in the face of adversity.
Looking Ahead: A Bright Future Beckons
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, we are excited about the possibilities for even greater impact at festivals on the schedule such as Faster Horses, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits (with more dates in the works).
