We all look forward to our days off—a chance to relax, recharge, and step away from the demands of our daily routines. But what if we could make those days even more fulfilling and meaningful by giving back?
At Touring Career Workshop, we have built these monthly Day Off connections as a source of building community within our industry but we also believe that a day off can be a day to serve, connect, and uplift others, especially those who need it the most. That’s why we’re excited to incorporate service in a special event on September 9: a Monday Night Street Outreach with People Loving Nashville.
Why Giving Back Matters
In Nashville, hundreds of our neighbors are currently unhoused, facing the harsh realities of life on the streets. These individuals have often experienced traumatic events that have led them to this season of life. People Loving Nashville believes in the power of love, dignity, and community to nurture growth in body, mind, and soul. Through their partnerships with volunteers, churches, donors, and other nonprofits, they work together to meet both immediate needs and provide long-term solutions.
Collaborating for a Greater Impact
For our next TCW Day Off, we’re wanting to collaborate with People Loving Nashville to help serve dinner to the unhoused and most vulnerable in Nashville. This isn’t just about providing a meal; it’s about creating relief, fostering community, and inspiring restoration.
