Taramatie has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health. She has over 10 years experience with Trauma-Informed Care. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Flash Technique and is also a level 3 Reiki Master. She incorporates Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CPT) and spiritual healing. Her treatment approach is based on a building your authentic being. Her mission is to serve, strengthen and sustain your growth process and help you reach your potential in this process. She provides a collaborative process that allows her to be alongside you to explore your journey in peeling back layers. Ali Plocha, Staff Psychologist at CampusCare Counseling and Associate Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College, holds an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, along with a B.A. in Psychology from Boston College. With over 10 years of experience, Ali specializes in trauma, anxiety, grief, career counseling, and identity issues. She employs a client-centered, relational, and strengths-based approach that is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. Ali integrates approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotional Processing techniques, aiming to build strong therapeutic relationships characterized by support, safety, and empathy.
