Sam "Old Skool" Harden Award

The Touring Career Workshop has set out to recognize leaders in our industry with over 10 years of road experience that dedicates their time and energy to mentor and teach the future generations beginning theour touring journey.

Sam "Old Skool" Harden was a lighting designer and technician at Bandit Lites that continually went above and beyond in helping guide those that were transitioning into their careers on the road. He was a hard worker, always had a smile on his face and a huge heart. Sadly, Sam passed away after a lengthy illness in the Fall of 2013. Although he is not present with us anymore his legacy will remain.

The 2019 Sammy "Old Skool" Harden Award was awarded to Tom Addison.

Tom has developed a great career as a tour manager, currently with Dierks Bentley, and spends much of his time guiding and lending a hand to people that are coming up in the industry.
