Scott Scovill

MooTV

Scott Scovill is the President/Founder of Moo TV, Moo Creative, The Steel Mill & Partner for CenterStaging.  He began in the touring industry with U2 at the age of 19 and spent much of his young adulthood travelling the world implementing concert video systems with acts such as David Bowie and The Rolling Stones.  In 1992, he received an offer to tour with Alan Jackson which led him to start Moo TV, a company that specializes in live concert video production.   

In 2010, expanding on the success of Moo TV, he created Moo Creative Media which develops and implements video content for live events and shows.  In 2009, he purchased CenterStaging, which is located in Burbank, CA.  Most recently, Scott purchased a 67,000 square foot premiere production facility in Nashville, “The Steel Mill” to accommodate rehearsals for arena shows as well as any show with large production needs.

Scott divides his time between the four companies and when available, he enjoys visiting his clients on the road.  

On occasion, he will take time to direct or design a show.  In fact, during the pandemic of 2020, Scovill served as Producer of “Garth & Trisha Live,” which aired on CBS in April.  He also Produced Brad Paisley’s Seltzer Sessions in May and Produced and Directed the Garth Brooks Drive In Concert in June.  

In August of 2020, Scovill Directed and Co-Executive Produced the Nashville broadcast segment of the Canadian Country Music Awards.  He has also Executive Produced two films, one of which starred Golden Globe winner, Jennifer Garner.  

Additionally, he enjoys spending a few weeks each year singing in Norway with a Norwegian Country band, and in 2019 released a Christmas Album titled “My Name Is Christmas,” that features Christmas classics as well as original songs written by Scovill.  In 2023, he will be releasing a book titled “Tenacity.”  

In his spare time, he travels the world and has been to 59 countries including Antarctica. Scott is an avid fan of hockey and when in Nashville, makes it a priority to attend most Nashville Predators hockey games.  He also plays center on the Nashville Iceholes hockey team.

Scott is a member of the ACM, and The Store Board.  He also makes it a priority to educate the next generation of the music industry by speaking to colleges across the country.  

He is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Music and also serves on the Leadership Music Gift of Service Committee.  In 2015, Scovill won the CMA Touring Award for Video Director of the Year and in 2014, he received the Top Visual Designer of the Year Award.   Additionally, Moo TV was the reigning Pollstar Video Company of Year for 10 years, which is the industry’s highest award.  In 2019, Moo TV won the Parnelli Award for Video Production Company of the Year. Additionally, Centerstaging has been named the rehearsal facility of the year for 5 years.
