The touring industry is full of crafty individuals, making awesome crafty things! When our industry was hit hard by COVID, many touring folks started side businesses as an income source. Many of them continued past the pandemic in their craftiness. Please consider showing them your support!

Candles

Erik is a touring Production Manager and has created the Wooded Creek Candle Co. 100% soy candles pure and clean ingredients. Small batch, hand-poured and packaged in TN. For every candle purchased, they will donate a $1 to MusicCares. Wooded Creek Candle Co. came about from a desire to create a clean candle line that would also giveback. As a music industry family, they have seen firsthand how hard our industry has been hit during this pandemic. They hope to help our music family during this incredibly difficult time.

Devon is a touring video director and had an idea “What if we could make a candle that smelled like you were ALMOST really at a live concert?” That’s where our Outdoor Amphitheater candle started it all. Our seasonal candles will make you feel like you’re ALMOST doing so many things you love and will invoke your fond memories. Our 100% Soy candles are hand poured in small batches in Spring Hill, TN. Shop our seasonal favorites now!

Bex works as a touring merchandise/VIP coordinator and hand pours all natural soy wax candle. Their focus is on generosity & using what we do to give back and make a difference.

Dave is a touring lighting tech and specializes in handmade soy candles with wood wicks that will remind you of the best moments and memories in life. The fragrances are mixed throughout the candle to ensure a consistent scent throw and the wood wick has a slight crackle when is burns.

Soaps

Isabella has worked in the touring industry as a labor coordinator and touring accountant. She creates Artisan Soaps, Bath Bombs, Shower Fizzies, Bath Salts, and Event Favors.

Leather Goods

Jonathon is a keyboard player and musical director, and he makes handcrafted leather goods such as wallets, key rings, totes, leather patch hats and beanies, Dopp kits, cigar cases and accessories and more!

Paul is a touring guitar tech, and creates custom leather wallets, purses, dog accessories, and more!

Apparel/Sewn/Knitted Goods

Brittany is a touring band/wardrobe assistant and creates custom sewn home goods (kitchen towels, bags, etc), dog jackets, masks,  custom clothing and other items!

Wynter is a local crew person from Nashville, TN who makes handmade, useful, and decorative items for around the house (aprons, cup wraps, potholders, and other miscellanery).

Jordan is a touring audio fly/patch tech and makes handmade knit socks, hats, and scarves. Both premade and custom ordering are available.

Amy is typically the head of wardrobe on shows, but she also makes custom gifts, clothing, & baby items. Custom embroidery and shirt designs.

Alexis is a Nashville based tour manager who created Damsel In Success - which has custom clothing, stickers, and pins. The  DAMSEL IN SUCCESS gear is created  as  a flag  to let everyone know there is no other option than equality.

Jewelry

Chuck is a Tour Manager who creates hand made jewelry fabricated from damascus steel, timascus and mokume.

Woodworking

Pippy works in lighting and automation, and creates cool custom squirrel feeders and picnic tables!

Jeremy is a touring audio engineer and makes custom furniture, cutting boards and keepsakes.

Will is a touring monitor engineer and makes custom furniture and woodwork.

Adam is a Nashville based tour manager and makes quality hand made furniture and does custom carpentry.

Chris is an audio engineer who makes custom cutting boards, home goods, charcuterie / serving plates, as well as numerous side projects from small countertops / American flag boxes, knife blocks, other general home goods. Most goods are made to order.

Ken is a lighting tech that makes handmade cutting boards, necklace/mask/laminate holders, serving trays, charcuterie boards, coasters, scarves, blankets, bibs, washcloths, & headbands.

Home Decor

Kristin is a touring wardrobe supervisor and creates handmade and hand painted planters, ornaments, home decor plus pop culture wall art.

Luke is a tour manager who makes one of a kind lamp and lighting fixtures made from iron pipe. Custom order and current inventory are available on our website. 5% of all profits will be donated to MusiCares.

Crafty Cool Stuff

Chris works as a tour manager and has a cool quirky collection of goods made with upcycled & repurposed vintage trophies (bottle stoppers, Christmas ornaments, keychains, and more!)

Dan is a tour manager and audio engineer and has created Finless Skateboard Co. They are a family business, focused on handcrafted custom longboards and cruisers. They also offer limited merch and apparel, including crew hoodies, vintage black tees, and a tote bag! They are currently available through Kickstarter at bit.ly/finless and were featured in the Montreal Gazette on 12/01 (see below)!

Amanda is an assistant tour manager and makes cool custom mask lanyards! Hip, trendy and customizable

Deats and Jackson do custom painted scenic/backdrops and sewn softgoods for live events, but also create hand painted clocks, coasters, caps & bags. Also, filter pocket fabric face masks. There is more on their Facebook page: ShadowLine Originals by Deats & Jackson.

Jocelyn works in wardrobe, but also creates cool up cycled useful things.

Jeff is a tour carpenter, and does custom laser engraving, trophies, and woodworking.

Cat is a touring VIP Event Manager, seamstress, and the “creative cat” behind an awesome small business adventure, The Creative Cat- Fun, Fashionable Face Masks and More! By sourcing hundreds of hard-to-find prints, from all over the nation, she creates unique, hand-crafted fabric face masks in a variety of sizes to fit ages 3-103! Her masks are made with 2 layers of 100% cotton, are reversible, and have a pocket inner liner to add an additional filter, if needed. They are protective, fashionable, extremely comfortable to wear, and available for sale, each week, on her VIP Facebook shopping group.

Tara is a production coordinator who makes unique artwork and shadowboxes made with real insects and bugs from around the world. She also makes polymer clay earrings and  is launching a perfume and line of candles in January.

Charlie works in automation, lighting, and rigging and creates stickers and assorted geegaws representing the brand to show off to your friends. Perfect Pelican stickers to make sure you're properly covered!

Art and Photography

Vanessa is a touring lighting director and creates personalized digital art + doodles!

Steven works in sales for a lighting vendor and does excellent photography on several mediums.

Nick works as a graphics operator/designer and creates amazingly abstract modern acrylic paintings.

Joy is a live event photographer and has some amazing photography prints, cards, and bags for sale.

James is a drummer/drum tech who creates awesome terracotta sculptures.

Petur works as a stage and production manager and creates handmade shell and stone jewelry as well as custom beadwork.

Food/Yummy Treats

John is a touring Backline Tech, and created Call Time Coffee - a small pop-up coffee shop operating in Nashville, TN. 0.50 of every cup of coffee sold is donated to MusiCares. We also offer Merch that directly benefits music venues in Nashville such as The Exit/In, Blue Bird, 3rd & Lindsley, and other venues in the Music Venue Alliance of Nashville.

Montse works as a touring production coordinator and makes small batch, German roasted, sweet almonds, pecans and cashews. They also offer a deluxe mix which includes all 3 and a salted cashew - the perfect sweet and salty treat! Holiday rounds available featuring our nuts with perfectly paired chocolates or fruit. They ship nationwide.

Jen is a touring audio and engineer and makes seasonal dried herbal kits (eg. 6oz, food-safe decorative glass container with assorted organic, ethically sourced items such as: cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, gogi berries, rosemary sprigs, cacao- ETC.) Usually 4-8 items per kit, seasonally harvested and always fresh for 1-2 years’ usage after purchase.

Alexandra is a touring catering coordinator and production assistant who also creates amazing homemade jams. Since 2020, Pine Mountain Co. has been creating small batch jams out of their home base in Northwest Georgia. That area is surrounded by farmland which produced some of the countries best produce. And they are taking advantage of that! All of their fruit is from local farmers and all of their herbs are grown in their garden. If the fruit isn’t in season, they won’t be making it. Every batch is all natural, no pectin added. And they are all handmade with love. They hope you enjoy!

Drinkware

Mandi is a festival and event logistics professional and makes custom stainless steel tumblers. Don’t drink from a boring cup! Let her make you a custom cup!

Digital

Carolyn is a Tour Manager and can digitize those VHS memories! Dig out those old VHS tapes from your parents' basement or dust them off of the shelf you have them hidden, right behind the CD collection that you can't bring yourself to recycle. Let me transform your nostalgic VHS & VHS-C tapes to digital links of joy. Each tape you submit will be transferred into a MP4 file, which can be downloaded from an emailed link. USB Flash Drives and DVDs are additionally available. Transfers are discounted for the more video tapes you submit!

Logistics and More

Hazel works in festival operations and logistics. Jet Set Logistics can handle any and all services you all know your trusty multi decade experienced ops guys and gals excel at. Design, Fabrication, carpentry, automotive, shipping and receiving, storage, power, plumbing, and pretty much anything else your imagination can come up with. If he can’t personally handle your needs, Hazel promises “I’ve got a guy for that”

3D Printing

Justin is a touring lighting director and makes custom designed and 3D printed tools and devices for the lighting professional. Have an idea, need it printed, we can help!

Books

Mark is the General Manager of a touring lighting vendor, and has written  "The Night": a book of short stories about a zombie outbreak in the United States

Kristin is a tour manager and has written a book during quarantine called "Poems from Cellblock Quarantine". Only a few left!
