Backstage Coffee Roasters (BCR) was an idea that gave two entertainment industry friends the opportunity to follow their second passion. Owners Jimmy Ibanez and Ricardo Roman have built very successful careers in the concert touring world. Respectively, their travels around the world touring with music artists, hundreds of thousands of miles flown, either living out of a hotel or tour bus, has allotted them an experience like no other. So began their love for people, culture, food and above all, a respect for coffee as an art. Traveling through Central and South America and witnessing the pride citizens had for their local coffee and the standard of quality provided was something to be admired. It ignited a passion for coffee, an addiction that could only be satisfied by the highest quality extractions and beans from the best coffee regions in the world.
