On February 22-26, 2021 TCW hosted the first event in the "Shake Off the Dust" competition series. This event gave twelve Lighting Programmers the opportunity to get behind the lighting console to show us what they can do. They each were given two hour blocks to program, and had no idea what the lighting rig looked like, or what the song was until they arrived for their scheduled time.

 

On the final day, they all played their programming back in front of a panel of industry judges. All of the contestants did fantastic! The top four were chosen and awarded prizes.
