Chris Bissinger

A proud lifelong Nashvillian, Chris Bissinger found the love for live events at an early age. Beginning with his 1st job at The Starwood Amphitheater, he knew his life would forever be changed by wanting to a part of “The Crew”.

Starwood led to a job at The Opryland Hotel where he cut his teeth in an era that saw an industry switch from slide projectors to video projectors.

After leaving Opryland, he spent the next 19 years working for 1 company that had 5 different names, but always having 1 goal- To turn Visions into Reality. That little hotel AV company took on a larger role in town as artists started including video in their shows.

From his 1st tour with the late Olivia Newton John, to successful runs with Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Alabama, Sara Evans, Josh Turner and countless festivals and corporate events, Chris continued to grow in his passion and knowledge for the industry.

In 2017 he left his post as Director of Nashville operations at Media Visions, Inc to give back to this industry that gave so much to his life. Now a proud instructor of Audio Visual and Broadcasting at Stewarts Creek High School in Rutherford County School, his mission is to mentor the next generations of Live Event Professionals, and to grow the workforce in this area.

“I would not be here without the guys who took time to mentor me” Ten-A-C, Gudis, Baja, and countless colleagues who didn’t give up on him. His advice to anyone would be “Never Stop Teaching and Learning”

In his spare time, he enjoys a quieter but busier life, where he spends time with his wife Amie, and children, Ryman, and Harper.
